Don't think I need to comment as I think we all agree at how silly that is.Shoud trophies be redeemable for rewards/prizes?
For instance they could offer prizes like $50.00 PSN credit for every 500 trophies, free t-shirt for every 250 trophies, ticket entry for a grand-prize drawing for every 100 trophies or even like $100.00 credit for 100 platinums. They could have a grand prize for trophy leaders every month/year.....just so many different options they could go for.
I think they should. It would be comical to watch the intense trophy tards ramp it up another notch.
Couldn't you just like... make a new account and collect rewards with easy games?

I actually think they should have had some value from the beginning. It would obviously be nice for the players, and could have possibly resulted in higher customer retention for the platform holders that did it.
Personally I never go for 100% trophies/achievements on consoles because I feel they're pointless in their current form.

Me either. I, you know, had a job and a little bit of a life that didn't involve playing vidja games 18 hours a day, and thus couldn't win anything if I wanted to.
