I see... Well, the fact is that there will be at least 1k extra copies on each platform. Counting the PS4 copies that went out in the blind boxes and all that, I think it's safe to say that this is the LRG title with more copies printed. I can't remember how many Y's Origins copies were pre-ordered though, so I may be wrong.

Quoting Le Doug on another place:

5,010 copies were produced in total - which covers the ~3,500 which were sold, the developer and our promotional copies, and overage for replacements. The roll of stickers for numbers 0001 - 2000 ended up not being entirely usable, so copies that were sent out are all labeled 2,000 - 5,500, IIRC. Getting a new roll of stickers would have caused another two-week delay which we just couldn't afford at this point.

Isn't that the POINT of the preoder? Where did you say you were going to do 50% more?
Just feels like more of the usual.
I don' t care a lot about the total numbers but be upfront about it. Like how B&C copies continue to show up.

That would have been the correct thing to do, but with all the pressure from people waiting for their games, it was a lose-lose situation anyway.

I suppose. If they had the stickers ahead of time perhaps it could have been corrected. That should be posted on their homepage & on twitterz atleast and perhaps an email.
