You'll be able to buy two, but the third cover (the 32X variant) will be a reward through our loyalty rewards program.

No, I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I just thought I remember seeing Night Trap on Kickstarter that was going to be done with HD remaster of the visuals, and then nothing came of it until now with LRG.

Actually those covers IMO are perfect. Its a corny B FMV game from the 90s. Its similar to the badness of the original covers.

I even love that they added a 32x and Sega CD margin to it.

Lol Vic you trickster! If it was only PR for Class of Heroes 2 then why did you make the kickstarter exclusive versions to taunt people!

I like them too, but I'm assuming the third one will be the original red-box version and I'd love to see that one personally. The LRG guys could even include the MA-13 since it's not an ESRB rating, it's a VRC rating which is now defunct!

Night Trap actually had a M Esrb rating. I think had it had a VRC rating it would have been the MA-17.

Haha! I was prepared to work with whatever result, but if the Kickstarter had completed, it would have been a LOT more work for essentially the same end result. Some of the tiers were pretty extravagant and would have been labor-intensive. Everything worked out fine, and it really opened my eyes to the use of Kickstarter as a cheap promotional platform. Kinda like the people that go on Shark Tank and have no intention of making a deal. They only want the free exposure.

And speaking of extravagant, if everything comes together as I plan, the presentation for Summon Night 6 WE unboxing should impress beyond what people already know. Eventually I hope it embarrasses other "fan friendly" publishers to stop pretending and up their game to show their fans what appreciation really looks like. But that's probably too much to ask, especially when elements of their fanbase will defend being treated like crap.

It eventually got an ESRB rating on the 32X release, but the first release on SEGA CD was before ESRB even existed.

I was always kind of amazed at how much Nothing there was behind the furor over Night Trap. It felt tame at the time, especially when compared to the movies it was influenced by, but still caused so much trouble for gaming. Now it's just a silly, harmless memento of the past.

You're right, it was MA-17, I've got all the versions of it for SegaCD so I probably should have known that :|
