i need that Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap one when it drops, the LE if it has the press kit master system setup. i realize i have zero chance at this, but having just finished it, it's a fantastic remake & deserves shelf space.

Hmm maybe you don't get it I'd still prefer the original version on the n64. Played through it last month in fact. Still absolutely holds up.

I'm also a down the middle pc/console guy so the "race" thing never made sense to me. 1991-99 I was all console. Then in the 1999 area I got the good PC and internets. Pretty much did that hardcore for years. Got big into fps modding level design etc. Then over the last ten years it's been probably split between the 2 formats with the console stuff being mostly retro

For you. I hated myself when I was playing Banjo Kazooie again, sold all my N64 games off and wondered why people still play N64 games.

I have no interest in playing Doom 64, Saturn Quake, Saturn Hexen etc... I just see no benefit to it.

Interesting that you went from all console to more or less just PC and now to both but seemingly PC for new games mostly if I'm understanding correctly? Once the N64 more or less introduced me to video games I've pretty much done both. I remember getting this compilation disc for PC. I can't remember if it had many full older games on it or not but it had a demo for Baldur's Gate and man did it hook me.

I see you missed the joke .

As far as consoles go, they aren't ever going to catch up hardware wise unless manufacturers decide to post huge losses.

Edit: I had a ton of N64 stuff but I can't handle the terrible output now. Maybe if I got a modded system to deblur or used codes for it I might find it more palatable.
