Technically they're all limited editions .

Well they gotta sell 5000 copies somehow, and people probably wouldn't buy 4 copies if they simply increased the purchase limit.
Better question. Who's actually going to shell out money for a physical copy of a smartphone game? I guess people actually did buy Angry Birds when it hit consoles, but it was popular...

It seems to be working well for them so far.

Oceanhorn sold well, and probably wouldve sold more had there been more.

Does have a "24 page art book inside". Clearly that's worth $15.

Sure milking night trap. 2 covers, LE, making of blu, record, pc game, and potential third cover (if it gets sorted out).

I asked him about that on CAG and he defended their price point for their LEs saying they give more to the developer and composers (when they include a soundtrack). So I asked why the Lili LE was $15 extra for a slipcover and manual. I did ask during Wonderboy's release so maybe he missed it. Lili is +$10 for the case and disc and another $15 for a slipcover and manual. If PA can get these Asian releases to include a manual (not just with their own releases) I'd just buy from them over LRG. The manual is the only reason I regret not buying Wonderboy from LRG.

I don't buy the extra fluff anymore. The Making of Blu Ray by My Life in Gaming was "okay". Felt like it was dragged out a bit. Night Trap doesn't really have any nostalgia for me, but I'll try for the CE anyway.

The third cover is a thing. It's tied to the rewards program, tho. 40 tickets for a sealed game with that cover and 10 or 8 (can't remember) for the insert only.

Yeah, I don't have much interest in the bluray, and none in the pc. And $20 for a 45 of the theme? Seems a bit high for just that (I know vinyl prices are derp). May pass on that too. The sad thing is it'll likely be $50 + on ebay.

I'd be ok with $5 extra for the slip and an actual booklet. But an "art book" isn't a manual nor is it worth $15. I kinda like the cover for the LE so I'll have to decide if I do want to spend the extra on it.

Recent twitter said they are having issues with something about it and aren't sure if it'll happen still. And they've not produced the games for it yet so it'll be some time if it is done.
