I missed the StrictlyLimitedGames sale by a few minutes. Distractions...

I did order Thimbleweed + Momodora though.

yeah that was bad timing, i only realized it when they resent the email and i noticed the timer was matching lrg and I was like oh ****.

there is one more run for sexy bunny girls tomorrow at 9 am PST.

I was on the fence with thimble, on the one hand it has Twin Peaks, Deadly Premonition, Alan Wake vibes, on the other hand its a crappy 2d looking joke game instead of being a well made 3rd person horror game. Yeah DP had some quirky humor in it, but not to the degree of thimble.

I'm busy in the morning. Guess I'll see if I'm back by 12 or not.

Looks like I'm the only one here that passed on timberland. Looked bad to me for $35. $25 I might have went ahead. 3 now I've passed on. Also skipped the vinyl today.

Are the vinyls more than just a fad for anyone? I'm not judging, just curious.

Vinyl has its own sound. The audiophiles aren't wrong about that. Though I do find it ridiculous of them to download lossless FLAC and fill up their hard drives with not much music.

Though the whole fad thing IS the main reason it came back.

There's no reason to have lossy files when storage space is as cheap as it is now.

For me no. I grew up with my family having them. I do collect for a couple people when I come across them as I still like to listen sometimes. And not all of their stuff is on cd.

To really get the benefit of lossless audio, you need a badass audio setup. 320kbs MP3 is perfectly fine for an MP3 player of any sort with a decent set of earbuds or headphones. Same for audio just coming out of a TV or laptop/PC.

Compare the files sizes. It's the perfect go-to when you need to explain the concept of diminishing returns to someone.
