Limited Run Games - physical runs of digital games

They are Retro-bit repros of games that you can get for $7. Not for me. I get the feeling that these might be paperweights, but Star Wars fans are a rather obsessed bunch.

I actually do like the old school Kenner-themed packaging though

Yeah, my feeling as well. It's odd. Like I'd say 90% of the time I consider the LRG special editions overpriced but sometimes they just knock it out of the park.

I'll definitely be getting the corpse killer standard edition but I might get the collectors edition just to get a production slide or a sealed 3do copy.

Was totally hoping for and expecting a Sega Saturn repro case in this collector's edition. They did it for battle garegga and night trap so I figured it was a slam dunk but honestly it's not bad I guess. I'm probably going to buy one just to see which one of those extras I can get

I'm assuming 95% of the extras will be those slides based on the tweet. I really hope so because I already have the VHS from being on the Digital Pictures mailing list as a kid, and the odds of getting a 3DO copy seem pretty slim.

I'm also excited for Transistor, this is a game I've wanted to play for awhile because of the visual and soundtrack but never found the time. A Switch release will be good for me.

Looks like 1500 total with no limit. You think if I buy 10 of them they'll give me a 3do and a Mac copy lol
